A pictorial time capsule of The City of Sydney in 2006.
This picture was an entry in the Signature of Sydney competition in 2006. It was one of the 50 semi finalist entries.
The competition was partly inspired by a drawing by a Sydney artist William Morris in 1888. There are referances in the texts in my picture to his vision for Sydney at that time. William Morris incorporated in his picture the names of most if not all the commercial emterprises in Sydney. That was also part of the assignment in 2006, however I have removed the company names and trademarks from this picture.
