Bill Dowling's Gallery

All my pictures are printed with pigment inks on canvas or on lustre or gloss paper, with appropriate treatment and care they will have archival properties.
Prints on canvas are provided with an extra clear white area of canvas around the edges to allow mounting on wooden frames. Prints on paper are also provided with a narrow area of clear paper around the edges to allow mounting behind mat boards
Prints on paper should be displayed in sealed frames behind glass, mat boards and backing materials should be acid free and be of archival quality.
Prints on canvas have been over painted with a clear coating to reduce the effect of ultra violet light. They may be open framed or framed behind glass. Open framed canvas prints should be hung in rooms free of strong household vapours such as; cooking,cleaning, cigarette smoke, insect sprays, incense and oil burners.
